Our Vision
By 2058, an expanding majority of humans possesses the basics of life: clean water, nutritious food, adequate shelter, health‐promoting medical care, and access to education. The most pressing problems of the early 21st century have been eliminated. Energy is abundant, renewable and cheap. Water is abundant and pure. The atmosphere is clean and the oceans are thriving. Top soil is productive, healthy, and expanding. Natural ecosystems and wild places are treasured and preserved, and humans value biodiversity. The climate crisis, which once wrought devastation, has aligned humanity in working together toward a common vision. The world has transformed from consumptive society to sustainable society, and is becoming a regenerative society. Regenerative cities and towns produce surplus food, export energy, and exhale purified air. Such cities welcome the downtrodden and produce educated citizens. Most now believe that all humans are created equal and possess the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Children become adults through meaningful rites of passage. People value living, loving, and learning. Artistic expression is elementary to human existence. Laughter and fun are appreciated. Forgiveness and compassion are commonplace. renewable energy, and environmental restoration. We hold the vision that
urban centers are highly desirable places to live and that such cities
produce surplus clean energy, healthy food,
pure water, and fresh air. Clean regenerative cities and towns enable
the preservation of wild spaces for recreation and biodiversity. We
